Privacy notice

This explains what TTJ Systems Ltd does with your information when you contact us. Written to be read, not to be impressive.

Who we are

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form or tell us directly: your name, phone number, trade if you give it, and anything in the message box. Plus your email address if you email us.

We use no tracking cookies, advertising pixels or third-party analytics. If you have only read this website and not contacted us, we hold nothing about you.

Cookies and what your browser stores

This website sets no cookies. None for tracking, none for advertising, none for analytics. That is why there is no cookie banner — you cannot need to consent to something that is not happening.

One thing is stored on your own device. If you use the light and dark toggle, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under ttj-theme. It holds one word, either light or dark. It never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and identifies nobody. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google will see your IP address. A browser extension that blocks third-party requests stops that, and the site still works.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to do the work and keep records of it. Lawful basis is legitimate interests for replying, and performance of a contract once you engage us. We are also required by law to keep certain financial records.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are handled by Netlify, our hosting provider, and reach us by email at Google (Gmail). Both act as processors on our behalf. We do not sell your information or pass it to anyone for marketing.

If we build or maintain a website for you, we may handle personal data belonging to your customers. Where that happens we act as a processor on your instructions, under a separate written agreement as UK GDPR requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 12 months. Customer records are kept six years after the final invoice, which is what UK tax law requires.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. Email ttj.systems.ltd@gmail.com and we'll deal with it within a month. If you're unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
