I build websites for a living, so it would be a poor show if my own were hard to use. This page says what I've actually done and where the gaps are.

What this site does

  • Every colour pair meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, in both light and dark mode — measured, not assumed
  • Works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline on everything you can reach
  • A skip link to jump straight past the navigation
  • Proper headings in order, so a screen reader can navigate by structure
  • Text resizes without the layout breaking
  • Every image and diagram has a text description
  • Nothing moves, flashes or auto-plays
  • No pop-ups, no interstitials, nothing to dismiss

Known limitations

The pink used for buttons and links changes between light and dark mode, because the dark-mode pink is too light to read on a pale background. If you switch modes, the accent will look different. That's deliberate.

Some detail is inside expandable sections. It's all reachable by keyboard and readable by a screen reader whether open or closed, but it does mean a bit more clicking.

If something doesn't work for you

Tell me and I'll fix it. Email ttj.systems.ltd@gmail.com with what happened and what you were using. I'll reply within one working day.

If you'd rather have any of this information another way — over the phone, in a plain document, in larger print — ask and I'll send it.

What I build for clients

The same standards go into every site I build. Contrast is measured, keyboard use is tested, images get descriptions. It isn't an extra you pay for; it's just how the work is done.
